Le Buzard is a charming Chateau with a great deal of character and it had plenty of space for us all. We had a very comfortable stay, enjoying the beautiful grounds whether relaxing around the fabulous pool and pool house or playing boules in the large garden.

The stay was made even more relaxing by having Edith cook for us on several evenings. We all thoroughly enjoyed her food, including the children. It was a great treat. All in all, we had a wonderful holiday and would love to return, but perhaps for two weeks next time!

It is such a beautiful house and was the perfect holiday for us all – even my father thought it was the loveliest house we have stayed in, in all our holidays in France and he is an architect who specialises in listed buildings back home! I am back in the UK now after a fantastic week at Le Buzard the family. We all thoroughly enjoyed staying at the beautiful house you have there in what is a really lovely location. Plenty of space, privacy, garden, fantastic pool etc. to relax and enjoy some time away. Whilst we had a few cloudy / rainy days we had plenty of time to explore the area, a few local markets and sample the local produce!

Martine was very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed meeting Raphael the Chef and he produced a delicious meal for us on the Monday evening – a great idea and thanks again for suggesting that.

In short, it was all a fantastic success and everything I hoped this family holiday would be. The house was perfect, small quirks notwithstanding, and of course is in the most tremendous location. The views over the fields in early morning and evening were blissful. We were blessed with great weather and I think we were only unable to have dinner outside on 2 occasions.

Martine and her daughter were charming and Martine’s husband was kind enough to give the children rides on his tractor whilst harvesting which was a big hit as you can imagine. The pool complex was great, brutal games of ping pong etc. It was wonderful to see Sophie who couldn’t dive on arrival doing so like a porpoise by the time we left.

The cook Edith was lovely and produced just the sort of food we liked on the one occasion she came. Her substitute, Raphael Potard who came twice, was charming and quite intense!
We thought the house was very well equipped, serviced and furnished, as one would expect.

We have had the most tremendous time and when you are next speaking to Robert Lo please let him know firstly how lucky he is to own Le Buzard and, secondly, how much we enjoyed staying there.

We have just returned from the most magical of times at Le Buzard. No one had quite prepared us for the beauty of the house, gardens/farm and pool. You’ve built a dream holiday home and it felt like an honour for us to stay there.The house is perfectly finished and styled wonderfully, a truly authentic french farm house. We slept well, ate far too well, and switched off perfectly from the outside world. I wanted to say a big thank you for all your help. Martine was wonderful too, we spent a few days with her on the farm with the rabbits, goats and chickens, the kids thought it was amazing.
